This blog follows a teacher and her engineering husband as they transition from normal life to the world of medicine. It will be a medical miracle when we get there!
"My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it anything like right, the chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours… it is precisely through these stories in all their particularity, as I have long believed and often said, that God makes himself known to each of us more powerfully and personally. If this is true, it means that to lose track of our stories is to be profoundly impoverished not only humanly but also spiritually." -Frederick Buechner (Telling Secrets)
"Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world's grief. Do justice, now. Love tenderly, now. Walk humbly, now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it."

I'm sooo sorry it hasn't happened for you guys yet. If it makes you feel any better we started trying again last January (1 year ago)...I'm so glad it didn't happen for us until right now. It sounds crazy, but as time has passed I keep thinking to myself how the circumstances just weren't/aren't right to have a new little one right now. In fact, come Sept (our due date), things will be settling down just enough to make a little one manageable.
I know it's hard but He does have a plan for you! And I've said it before but I'll say it again: You and J will be ridiculously amazing parents!
It is disappointing though, isn't it? Sometimes it straight up sucks not to have a baby when others are announcing their pregnancies. I have been there too. Just not cool, so I'm sorry if our situation has made your life any more difficult :(
He does - sorry that sometimes His plan can be so unclear - but it is nice for you to know that He loves you as His daughter and knows you so well - can you imagine what this trial would feel like without that knowledge? Keep your chin up - you're beautiful!
